Bryan is a 14-year-old boy who was recently diagnosed with OCD. His pediatrician suggests that Bryan take an SSRI for this condition and also participate in exposure therapy with a psychologist. Bryan and his mother agree to the medication but wonder whether participating in therapy is also necessary.
