In one paragraph (75–150 words), describe what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Your Answer:
To be a disciple of Jesus Christ, we must become like him. It is not enough that we just follow the commandments but we must be changed in a way that we improve ourselves. "The pure love of Christ is not an Act but a condition or state of being." That being said, we also must live up to what we preach. Our hearts and minds must be transformed that we live and become the things Jesus Christ taught us. To have a heart of charity and be about it. To give love and have love in our hearts as well. This to me is what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. To also reflect his love to everyone that comes our way.

In one paragraph (75–150 words), describe a time when you were prompted to increase your discipleship and the changes you made to follow that prompting (please don’t write anything you feel is too personal or sacred).
Your Answer:
Since being married to my husband who is a non member, I've felt the prompting to increase my discipleship because it will help our relationship as well as bring him into the fold. I've not once coerced him into coming to church with me, however he has been so supportive of my faith that he has been willingly learning with me as I've been taking the pathway. By living the examples I was taught about Jesus Christ and the gospel, I feel like it is making a difference in both my husband and I.

In one paragraph (75-150 words), discuss the difference between knowing about the gospel and discipleship and becoming a disciple (Elder Oaks).
Your Answer:
Knowing about the gospel and discipleship means, understanding it and following the guidelines. Becoming a disciple means not just knowing it but living it and being about it. It is one thing to know something and another to do something about it and let it change you for the better. I feel like this very important to understand so that Heavenly Father can bless us. This is what he wants all of us to become so that we can have a chance to withstand evil.
