You will also turn in a 1-2 page essay about your concept for the elements you chose. Please note grammar and spelling accuracy is part of your point total. Answer the questions below in your essay. Please don't answer them as bullet points. Use the essay to showcase your knowledge of the aspect you chose.

Use the essay to tell me about your process in choosing your design concept. Why did you pick that time period? Why a thrust/arena/proscenium stage? What were some difficulties? What did you like about the process? This essay is your presentation to me about why you created what you did and your thoughts about it. Remember to cite any sources you use during your research for the project.

1. Reread the relevant posts. Research your element as needed. Discuss with fellow students if you'd like.
2. Become experts in your element. 
3. Describe responsibilities/objectives of a professional in the element.
4. Describe your artist’s working process and how this element relates to other production elements and the total effect on the Theatre experience.
5. Describe aspects and qualities of your element.  Discuss materials, tools, equipment and disciplines (courses of education or study) used by your artist.
6. Use visual aids such as outlines, pictures or charts to support your discussion.
