A researcher wanted to predict achievement in the fi rst year of law school. He conducted a multiple-regression analysis with a sample size of 1000 and used six predictor variables: undergraduate GPA, undergraduate major, LSAT score, score on a writing test, sex, and time lapse between undergraduate degree and application to law school.
