1. Review pages 25-32 in Lewis, Packard, and Lewis text about PEST (Political, economic, social trend and technology). 2. Identify a disaster (tornado, flooding, etc.) that has occurred in your state or community within the past 10 years. 3. Choose one population that was greatly affected (elderly, children, poor, women, families, workers, men, differently abled, sick, etc.) 4. Write a PEST trend analysis of the challenges faced by the major agency in your state or community (FEMA, Red Cross, Family and Children's Services, school system, etc.) as it engaged in disaster recovery to assist the population identified in #3. 
Part II 
1. Read The 2005 Hurricanes: A Social Work Retrosoacta[ED_E] AG and Factors Affecting  Parentally Bereaved Children. 2. Using the information from the article, name five specific components you would have in a program to address the mental health needs of the population identified in Part I #3.
