Ans. There are the factors explains why women paid less than the men such as :-

1. Different Occupations :- There are the most differences in the Occupations around the world between the Male and female . Most of the female choices Occupations like teachers which have less wage pay than the Occupations engineering in which mostly Male involved. So,differences in the Occupations effect the wage of male and female.

2. More Emphasis on part time jobs :- women's around the world more Emphasis on the part time work or like home based jobs which have less wage pay even for the same kind of jobs compared to male work full time which results higher pay to males.

3. Motherhood Penalty:- There is the negative relation between the female wage and the number of children she has, results reduction in the female wage pay where as there is the positive relationship between the Male wage and the number of children the have it will result increase in wage of males.

4. Household works:- Mostly womens around the world are engaged with the running Household and raising children and not afford even much time to work outside to earn income this will leads to decrease in the wage pay as compared to the males.

The wage differential between female and male were changed through time ,there are several Research has focused on factors such as Education and experience, for which changed have been more favorable for women than the men.
