You have developed a measure of “courage,” which is designed to reflect how brave a person is in difficult situations. Think about validity in the following ways. What other characteristics would courage be related to (concurrent validity, convergent validity) if a study were done looking at different personal characteristics? What other characteristics would you expect to NOT relate to courage at all or very little (discriminant validity)? The answers to both of these questions contribute to the construct validity of your measure.
