Choose a law or other rule that regulates the economy of a state or country. Investigate the history of this law, who favored it, why it passed, and what the economic effects were. Ideally, you will have data before and after the passage of the law to make a comparison. For example, in class we have read papers on the passage of consumer protection laws and banking regulation.Papers should be 1250-1750 words, not including sources (about 5-7 pages with standard formatting).
