A vital aspect of developing the Dissertation is knowing ahead of time what steps you must take from start to finish on your Doctoral journey.

This project is intended for you to prepare a paper with at least a 20-step process that begins where you are now to the final step of completing the Dissertation Defense.

For each step in the process, provide 2-3 sentences that explains what occurs for each step and/or what must be accomplished.

Some inputs from Prof 

I will add a few ideas to your list of "steps" to becoming a doctor ...

Do you show the sequence of your courses? What will you take from each course that is needed in your dissertation?

When will your "Chair" be assigned? When will your Committee be assigned?

When will you prepare your Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5?

In Chapter 2, when do you need the 100+ journal articles selected for your literature review?

When do you take the comp exam?

When is the last date you can decide on your dissertation topic?
