To get things moving along this week - please start off by introducing yourself. This ungraded discussion forum is offered to encourage you to familiarize yourself with how discussion boards work as we will be using them weekly through out the quarter. It will also offer you an opportunity to connect with other students in the course. This Meet-n-Greet discussion requires you to navigate through the course, and post replies multiple times to the discussion board.  Along the way, you are learning about your peers, building connections, and becoming familiar with, as well as prepared, to use this application. Instructions:

• First, update your profile,include a head-shot or avatar. You will be participating in numerous discussion forums throughout the course and having a picture along with the post helps build community.  You can learn about updating your profile by reading the following Canvas Guide: What are Profile and User Settings
• Second, introduce yourself on the discussion board by sharing a few personal details, such as  your major, where your are from, your academic goals,  and a fun fact about yourself.  You have to complete this by Wednesday night at 11 pm (to do so, just click the "reply" button at the top of the introduction thread below). 
• Third, review other students posts and respond to at least two of them.
