A representative section from a composite lamina is shown in Figure 2.7 along with the transverse stress and strain distributions across the fiber and matrix materials in the section. The composite section is 1 × 1 mm square, and the diameter of each of the four fibers is 0.1 mm. Assuming that the dimensions of the section do not change along the longitudinal direction (perpendicular to the page), find the numerical value of the effective transverse modulus for the section
