Identify factors related to the father’s health that are generally recorded on the prenatal record in assessing risk factors for the mother and/or fetus. Evaluate those areas of the initial assessment that reflect the psychosocial and cultural factors related to a woman’s pregnancy. Predict the normal physiologic changes a nurse would expect to find when performing a physical assessment of a pregnant woman.
