• Using case study 9.1 as an example, identify what strategies may have been implemented during the community assessment phase by the partners in the article that you selected.

• Identify any assessment tools described in the case study that were used or should have been used in the selected article.

• What databases would be appropriate to access and to use to demonstrate the need for the partnership?

• If the partnership focuses on health disparities, what epidemiologic studies should have been conducted? What would suggest that the partnership was based on evidence, relationship, or politics?

• Apply the Action Model to Achieve Healthy People 2020 goals to the partnership from the selected article. What elements of the model can you identify?
