Suppose cells have a 1% cell solute concentration. They are surrounded by a selectively permeable membrane. Some of these cells are placed in each of the following environments. In terms of osmosis, predict what will happen to the solute and solvent concentrations (inside and outside of the cells) in each of the following environments and explain why you think that.
