Economists sometimes argue that the food and beverage sector (cafés,restaurants) is characterised by low barriers to entry and thus competition may be intense. What is your opinion in this regard? Do you think the barriers to entry (or threats of entry) are low or rather high in this particular sector? Please provide specific justifications.
