IFSM300 WEEK 8 DISCUSSION 2 Many of you have said that you have learned a lot during this class

After working in IT for numerous years I was already aware of the impact many information systems could have on a given organization.  That being said the process of getting said information system on-site was totally new to me.  I was unaware of just how many steps and things were involved in creating a product package.  Outlining the business and process analysis are things that totally make sense to me now but were completely unknown before the course.  These steps allow you to identify weaknesses in your current business practice and input how any given new system could benefit those processes.  This course was a welcomed eye opener for me to bridge the gap between information technology and many unknown (to me) business practices.
