In Week 9 Discussion we start to identify how women and two spirited people play an equal role with men in all things

I really like the saying within the second native science passage " Finally people must constantly be aware of their weaknesses and strive to become wise in the ways that they live their lives. To this end,, through the use of story, humor and ritual , people "remember to remember" who they are, where they come from and the spirit that they share with all creation." This is something that is very true in my own life i am of Cherokee and Italian descent and my grand father would basically tell me stories s he could remember but also the humor of him telling stories and most important his life, the way of doing thing, tradition, ritual, the things that really mattered so that they're passed on, and next for me to be the wise in the ways' to pass them on to my children and my children's children. Men and women were different as far as symbols a corn pollen or an arrowhead yet both were i n charge of maintaining harmony and managing aspects of the land and all living creatures. I think Cordova's writing really fits the astronomy, family, life and harmony aspect of the indigenous people, its really well written that hits on so many topics that are so sacred to Native Americans.
