State one of your research hypotheses (if you have a research question rather than a hypothesis, convert your question into a hypothesis). What is the null hypothesis (Ho)?
What are the IVs and DVs?
Is H1 directional or non-directional? Why?
What would be the outcome of the statistical test of your hypothesis if you committed a Type I error? What would be the outcome of a Type II error?
Is this hypothesis posing a difference question or an associational question? Explain.
Using Figure 19.2 (p. 279) in your textbook, identify the appropriate statistical test of your hypothesis. Explain how you derived this test (what steps did you follow?).
