5. Store clerk passes form to the clerk in the Pricing Department.

7. If customer is, the next step is to check the receivables book to ascertain the available balance that may be applied towards the current purchase. 

8. If customer is not, then customer would pay cash. 

9. Each credit customer is given a limit that curtails the value of goods outstanding to the stipulated amount. Credit may only be allowed up to the remaining limit, the rest of the purchase amount must be settled before goods are released. 

10. The clerk then checks their price list and the new prices spreadsheet to ensure that the prices to be applied are current and were not changed today. 

11. The items on the requisition form are then assessed and an invoice is generated that contains the credit available, if applicable, the list of items requested, and the prices charged. 

12. The generated invoice is then returned to the store clerk who passes it back to the customer for payment at the cashier.
