She also left behind her family and friends she had known and relied on her entire life. She moved to Austin to attend school and work towards an undergraduate degree. It's the first time she has lived independently, and there are many new things to navigate. One could assume that Sally has many stressors. She is learning how to pay bills, realizing that toilet paper doesn't magically appear, being without her friends and family, finding her way around the bigger city, plus the new pressures of college.
