Find 3 or 4 photographers who work in a similar way or with a similar subject (around your theme). Talk about their photographs. Include some (or all) photographers that we have not

covered in class. Reach out. branch out.

Your 3-4 photographers and your topic should be:

1. from 1970 and earlier
2. relate to serious photography, not sports or wildlife, and no technical or camera topics
3. include new material, not stuff from class
4. about the photographs and the ideas in them, the form content and meaning

Include these steps (you can even number them if you don't want to have a normal flowing paper:

1) Explain why your theme or idea in general interests you ~ compare the work or vour photographers

1. Contrast the work of your photographers
2. TAIK about whether their work is round or made. whether it is insider or outsider, and whether it emphasizes form or content (though this might be the time to stop using the schoolroom terms put it in a larger. normal context)
3. Make some wider comments. opinions. or observations that give context and substance to the rest
