You are a preschool teacher. One of your parents arrives early for a meeting and notices that you are placing items in the large group area next to your spot and that you also have materials for small group meetings in all the learning centers also all set up.  The parent asks, "do you do this every single day?" You answer yes and he ask "why.".  Answer his question why by explaining that being prepared is a form of guidance and how it supports the children with developmentally appropriate activities.
