Kevin and Kyle, three-year-old twins, were rubbing their eyes a great deal. Kevin also had a white discharge coming from his left eye. Donna, their family child care provider, noticed this and suspected that both boys had conjunctivitis (pink eye). She informed the boys' mother when they were picked up. The next morning, Donna woke up with red, watery eyes.
