Report on Preclinical Experience

The preclinical experience is an essential part of your education and preparation for you Histology career.  You may have completed your assignment, or you are soon scheduled to complete the preclinical assignment. 

This assignment is simply to reflect on your experience and create a one-page review of your experience, answering the following questions.  Note:  this is not the dropbox to submit your preclinical forms completed during your preclinical assignment.  There is a separate dropbox to submit your forms.

• What is your overall feeling about your preclinical experience.
• Do you feel that you have a better overall understanding of how the Histology Laboratory works?
• Do you feel that your preparation with Histology course work completed so far at SUNY Broome provided you with adequate knowledge to understand the procedures and processes you witnessed or were involved in during your preclinical experience?
• What additional information or course work would you suggest being added to the laboratory coursework to provide you with more knowledge and preparation for the preclinical experience?
• any other suggestions?
