·         Begin with a short review of background material – specifically information that helps explain WHY you are performing this experiment. Give an explanation of the important science topics covered.

Include background of microbes and microbiology, staining methods(preparation of smears and simple staining, negative staining, gram stain, acid fast stain, structural stains: endospore, capsule, flagella), also include microbial metabolism test(carbohydrate catabolism, fermentation, protein catabolism, and respiration)

Use at least 5 references, must be a minimum 4 pages
