How has your company (Mode Transportation & Logistics) maintained its relationship with investors and/or owners?

Since shareholders have invested in the company, they are the owners. CEOs (i.e., managers) are hired to “run” it. Given the fact that CEOs are compensated by salaries, how are the investors compensated? Investigate this at your chosen company. Could we possibly make a CEO work harder by modifying his compensation structure?
