Does the media have a responsibility to help maintain and promote endangered languages? If so, give an example of how (and to whom) that responsibility should be directed. If not, explain why. Finally, if the media had more emphasis on maintaining and promoting endangered languages, do you think it would help? In other words, is it possible that the speakers of endangered languages would still opt to use the dominant languages as a means to participate in the dominant culture? Explain.
