Use sociological imagination to think of what sexual harassment and violence against women mean to AMERICA as a whole. It is (should be) easy to see how this is damaging or infuriating to the individual who experiences it, but we're not just individuals, we're part of a "collective", so I want you to think about and answer: 

1. From a macro perspective, how does sexual harassment /violence against women hurt society in general? Meaning how are our social institutions and organizations affected by it regardless of whether an individual has personally experienced it?
2. From a micro perspective, what SMALL steps can YOU take in your home, workplace, school, circle of friends to help change a culture that encourages, tolerates, perpetuates sexual harassment/violence against women (by small, I mean you don't have run for public office, picket your workplace, etc..).
