It is no secret that Jamaica's water engineering and supply stream will soon deteriorate due to the population being too over-reliance on them and uneven rainfall distribution causes water supply problems in the drier areas of the island. Many water sources become polluted due to the bauxite-alumina industry and excessive nitrates due to improper sewage disposal, particularly in Kingston. Most of the environmental problems inherent in Jamaica are similar to those of the rest of the world, such as insufficient engineering structures to control watershed management. The availability of water is falling over time and water crisis is the fifth highest risk to society according to the 2020 edition of the World Economic Forum's Global Risks report. There is increasing recognition of the power of better planning and integrated governance of water resources. Hydro-Air services will aim to effectively provide frameworks and tools for alternative water supply which can help improve water security. Public awareness and education in water resource management are also growing. And so are improvements internationally in the management of shared water resources. Water is a finite and irreplaceable resource that is fundamental to human well-being. It is only renewable if well managed. Today, more than 1.7 billion people live in river basins all across the world where depletion through use exceeds natural recharge, a trend that will see two-thirds of the world's population living in water-stressed countries by 2025. Additionally, At the current rate, 1.6 billion people will lack safely managed drinking water, 2.8 billion people will lack safely managed sanitation, and 1.9 billion people will lack basic hand hygiene facilities in 2030.

   The idea of Hydro Air services originated from the need to promote the sustainable development of water resources. The Founder, Andorro Gayle saw the need to use his knowledge of new trending innovative technology to promote and implement alternative frameworks for water supply in Jamaica. In hindsight, building the device would be too expensive for a starter business and would incur a wide variety of connections, therefore a Retail company (Alibaba, India) that already provided these devices was sourced for the importation of the Atmospheric generators to Jamaica. In the company's initial stages, it has been decided that our ideal starting location would be a physical store in the drier southern areas of the island.  As there is more demand for our product in those particular areas. We will seek to partner with different established companies such as the government to further broadcast our products as it promotes sustainable development. We hope to secure investments to expand our brand nationwide and manufacture these devices ourselves and maximize profits.
