YOU NEED TO USE THE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED BELOW FOR THE PROJECT. DO NOT USE THE

INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PUBLISHER'S WEBSITE.

Using the EXCEL Workbook Template provided below, populate the workbook with the trial balances, subsidiary ledgers, financial statements, and schedules according to the "DELIVERABLES SCHEDULE FOR EXCEL WORKBOOK" also found below.

Your final submission will include: (1) the completed Excel Workbook with ALL Deliverables and (2) your Group's City of

Smithville ’s cumulative data .SVDY file with all journal entries completed from Chapters 2-9. Failure to submit SVD file will cause a 50-point deduction will be applied to your project submission.

You will also submit a fully assembled CAFR (MS-WORD) using the financial statements and schedules created in the deliverables. You will include the Chapter 10 and 11 deliverables as part of the CAFR. The Notes to the financial statements should be based on the given information and deliverables from the project. NOTE: Omit the Letter of

Transmittal and MD&A from the CAFR.

Late Assignment Policy: The project must be submitted on or before the date due. A 10-point will be deducted for each day that the project is late.
