The Company is an semi automatet parking garage company.. The way it works is that when a car aproches the entrenc dore the costumer preses the remote and the dor opens. After it opens the custemer drives in and gets out of the car. Then the costumer goes to the safe zone outside the garage and prases the close button on the remote. The gate closes and the semi automated parking garage system takes the car automaticly to its resting place and awaits for other costumers. The problem that the system is facing is that some times the costumers forget to close the dor and thus the system fails to park the car to its given position. And thus a technician needs to come and asure there is no one in the garage and close the dor manually so that the system resumes operation. They can close the dore wierlesly over the internet but the problem with that is that the hva no way of knowing if a humen is still in the system. If someon is still inside they could really be hurt. So io need a sensor ore some senrosr that can work together or individually to detect the presence of humans or animals inside the garage and be abel to comunicate with the system and report that no one is there and close the garage dor automaticly and resume work. 

Ive looked into:

PIR (Passive Infrared): This technology detects body heat (infrared energy). These are the most commonly utilized home security sensors. They detect heat and movement to form a protective grid; if a moving object blocks several grid zones and infrared energy levels change, the sensors are triggered.
Microwave (MW): To measure the reflection off moving objects, the sensor sends out microwave pulses. Although MW sensors cover a larger area than infrared sensors, they are more expensive and susceptible to electrical interference.

But they dont have the necesery range and i dont know if they can detect a homen inside the car or not. I want the sensor to be placed at the entrance so it can detect how many peopel are coming in either by foot or inside a car. And then maby have a laidar sensor to cover the whole parking garage for human presenc can that be posibel?

Pleas make a list of specific sensor and their capabilites that i can usen on this system. And  compare these with each other giving them raiting. Make a pugh's matrix of them
