Discuss the philosophical scene as you can best ascertain it letting the three items be the representatives of the literature. Refer specifically to the items in your review by the author’s last name and the number in your bibliography of three which is to be displayed under the review.

This is a mock review. A typical literature review covers a good deal more than just three articles. It is often a specialized review designed to keep a specialized readership abreast of what is taking place, or has been taking place, in their area of interest.

A. Present the review (include a brief description of each article, cite the author(s) by last name and number in the bibliography.
B. Place your three article bibliography under your review.

2. Select one (just one) article now (from your little bibliography of three), the one that you have now chosen to examine further for Research 5 and 6, upcoming.
Identify (state it) fully by author, article title, journal source, volume, date, page.

A. copy and paste the abstract of the article, and...
B. copy and paste the last paragraph of the article. Make sure the article is a philosophical treatment of a topic in the philosophy of “X”.

(Note: if you have trouble copying and pasting the last paragraph you might have to type it is. But first, if you can copy but it comes out strangely, i.e. the format is not in a regular paragraph: take the copy and do a "save as" and make the file type "plain text". Save, and then go to that plain text file and copy that. it should paste into your submission without any trouble.)

Finally, explain why you believe your search successfully retrieved a philosophy article. Did you look the article over (not a book, nor, a review of a book or other articles)? Discuss more fully the logic of your search resulting in that selection: how the search terms were used, in combination? Was the search refined (i.e., after one search did you go back and do the same but added in another search term to narrow (refine) the search down to a specific issue in the philosophical area of interest)?
