The place I chose: Dunkin Donuts Students will identify an organization, such as a local restaurant, coffee shop, food truck, or retail store, that needs some operational improvement. This should be a small business. Students will analyze the current operational situation and make recommendations to fix a specific element(s) of the operation. Examples of operational analysis would include things like layout, service levels, ordering process, delivery process, or any interaction between the company and its customers. Choose a site that you are familiar with, or frequent. 1. Choose the site. 2. Provide a one slide overview of the business. 3. Discuss and evaluate the overall strengths and weaknesses of the operation. (SWOT) 4. Identify and focus on one primary weakness. Add additional and related weaknesses if appropriate. 5. Detail the (weakness) process, as it currently exists. Be specific. (Current state) 6. Explain how you would improve the process. Be specific. (Future state) 7. Diagrams and /or flow charts, showing current state and future state are required. 8. Create a 10-slide narrated PowerPoint presentation
