Evaluation of the paper will be based upon (1) focus of a main, controlling idea, (2) development of ideas, (3) organization, (4) incorporation of literary works in your response, (5) coherence, and (6) correctness. You do not need to have outside works for this paper, but you will need to do a Works Cited page (this page is excluded from your overall page length).

• Write a Christmas Play for African American Literature
• Arrange a Musical Score for a particular story
