For this assignment, you will fi nalize your selecti on of the specifi c technology that infl uenced a social, cultural, or global event you will be working on and begin to collect the requiredelements for your analysis. This assignment requires you to gather reliable evidence from varied sources and use them to introduce your technology eff ecti vely. All these elements willprepare you to complete the project, where you will need to use evidence to support your points.
Directi ons
For this acti vity, you will write a short paper introducing a specifi c technology that infl uenced a social, cultural, or global event of your choice. You may use the topic that you workedwith in the previous acti vity or choose a new topic now that you have refl ected further. Review the module resources and the instructor feedback you received on the previous acti vity.Then, if needed, visit the

for guidance on how to select and narrow a topic. If you are selecti ng a new topic, do some preliminary research to make sure you canaddress the required elements of your project. Please remember that you will not be able to change your topic aft er the end of this module.
You should begin to gather the sources you will integrate into your project, which will include two resources from the Module Resources secti ons of this course and two resources thatyou fi nd through your own research using the Shapiro Library. It may be benefi cial to identi fy more than the number of sources required for the project so you can eventually choosethe most useful and credible.
