Fortunately, these awful findings and projections can be avoided if we have enough knowledge about this killing disease.

Alzheimer's disease is an irreversible, degenerative brain illness that gradually erodes memory and cognitive capabilities, as well as the ability to do even the most basic tasks. Symptoms develop in the mid-60s in most persons with the disease (those with the late-onset form). In other words, the disease affects parts of the brain that regulate language, memory, and thinking. These effects are severe, and their severity depends on the disease's stage.

Now that we have some knowledge about the disease let us go a step further and explain what the organization is and how it is helping in fighting the disease.

 The organization was founded on 10^th  April 1980  by Jerome H, Stone, as the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorder association, Inc. The organization is an American non-profit volunteer health organization that focuses on supporting, caring, and researching Alzheimer's disease. Currently, the organization is the largest non-profit sponsor of Alzheimer's disease researches. Importantly, the association has communities and chapters across the country, with a national office in Chicago and a public policy office in Washington.

C. Aim of the organization

The organization was established to eradicate and eliminate Alzheimer's disease by advancing research on the condition and eliminate the risk of dementia by promoting brain health. The institution organizes activities such as advocacy forums and walks to help them meet their objectives. For instance, the organization has the Alzheimer's Association Advocacy Forum, which takes place annually. The event has celebrity guests, training sessions, topical presentations that focus on legislation and policy-making, and awareness of the disease.

The organization has made significant strides to help in the diagnosis and treating of Alzheimer's Disease.

In 1987, in collaboration with Lambert Pharmaceutical Company, the organization and N.I.A. helped recruit clinical participants for the first drugs for treating Alzheimer's Disease. Later in 1995, the organization funded mouse model development of a rare neurodegenerative disorder, which laid the technical foundation for mouse models for Alzheimer's. Also, to improve and maintain adult's cognitive performance, the organization and the American C.D.C launched the healthy brain initiatives. Lastly, the organization has also helped develop research criteria for defining new preclinical stages and updated guidelines for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease. Thus, even though the outlined example is few, this organization's contributions since its establishment have been immense.

First, you can participate in their annual Alzheimer's Association Advocacy Forum. Secondly, you can also be part of the Walk to End Alzheimer's, the world's largest event that also brings awareness about caring for individuals with Alzheimer's. Lastly, one can decide to be an active donor and help fund its operation.

Conclusion

Alzheimer's disease treatment uses millions of dollars and eventually claiming many lives in the U.S.; thus, it requires proper management at its initial stage and when it advances. Charitable organizations and community-based organizations can offer non-pharmaceutical Alzheimer's disease treatments such as physical exercise, social and mental stimulation, and memory training programs. Therefore, I urge you to take the initiative and join the organization.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving is an organization famous for fighting to eliminate drunk driving.  MADD dedicates itself to minimize or permanently end this mess. The organization started in 1980 where one mother began a movement that would profoundly alter the course of American history at a modest, inconspicuous kitchen table. Since then, the association serves as a meeting point for families, exchanging physical and emotional nourishment. The company aims at eradicating three fundamental problems: teen drinking, drugged driving, and drunk driving. Therefore, MADD develops a strategic solution, demonstrate how people can get involved and how victims can get help. Therefore, this presentation discusses the role of The MADD's Association in assisting in the fight against drunk driving, teen drinking, and drugged driving.

MADD identifies three significant issues: teen drinking, drugged driving, and drunk driving. First, teen drinking is a primary public health issue. According to Alghzawi and Ghanem's study, every day, over 4750 youngsters under 16 in the United States have their first full alcohol drink. Peer pleasure, poor parenting, and bad companies are the leading influencers to teen drinking. The second problem is drugged driving which is a growing problem. MADD indicates that a combination of drugs and alcohol is deadly. Drugged driving refers to operating a vehicle when inebriated as a result of recent drug usage. It makes driving a car dangerous, exactly as drinking and driving. Research by Razaghizad et al. in 2021 indicated that drunk driving puts the passenger, other road users, and the driver in grave danger. Lastly, drunk driving is the third problem MADD is trying to solve. Drunk driving is the offense of driving a vehicle with an excessive amount of alcohol in one's blood.

Now that we have some knowledge about the problems let us go a step further and explain what the organization is and how it is helping in solving those problems.  

As earlier stated, the organization started in 1980 and serves as a meeting point for families, exchanging physical and emotional and physical nourishment, and a place where kids tell their parents about their day at school. During holiday parties and family festivities, it's also a place where people share laughter and love. And, in the aftermath of a catastrophe, the table serves as a sad reminder of people who are no longer sat around it. It gives the justification why one mother in 1980 began a movement that would profoundly alter the course of American history at a modest, inconspicuous kitchen table.

The solutions this organization provides revolves around the problems it has already identified. First, for teen drinking, it recommends reinforcing 21-years legal consumption policy. MADD's Power of Parents initiative promotes high and middle school parents to have regular, purposeful talks with their children about the hazards and repercussions of underage drinking.
