For this Performance Task Assessment, you will play the role of a consultant who has been hired by a mid-sized company that recently went public to provide some recommendations related to their short-term and long-term financial needs. Your first project is to analyze the short- and long-term capital budget needs of the company. You will prepare and submit a 3- to 5-page report, including an executive summary in which you synthesize your recommendations for the following fiscal year, along with the provided Excel spreadsheet with your calculations. Explain your findings and your recommendations. For each of the following items in your report, you will complete the calculations in the provided Excel template (MF003_Assessment_Template_Part1.xlsx) and will then use that financial information to develop your report to the owner using the provided Word template (MF003_Assessment_Template_Part2.docx). In your report, be sure to address the following three sections, including relevant citations from the Learning Activities, the Walden Library, and/or other appropriate academic sources to support your work. A more detailed explanation of the instructions is provided in one of the attachments below. Additionally, I have included a document of the links/references of the sources to be used, as well as the rubric and the assignment templates.
