Today, Aug 8th,, at 3:37 in the morning, I received an email from Mikel Lewis thanking me for subbing for him. Additionally, he said, “I will be at school early until I have to leave. Could you come by during 1st period and I will should you what to do.” When I arrived to his classroom, nothing was in written format in terms of lesson plans that I could physically pick up as anything written was on the screens he intended to leave up for me that I believe may have been under his own email address. I was not scheduled to be subbing for him until WINN time.I supposed Mikel just had assumed I had nothing to do during first hour since I did not see actual physical copies. I arrived to school early and walked into Mikel Lewis’s classroom probably about 5-10 minutes before school started so that he could show me what to do during 1st hour. This occurred anywhere from 7:50-8:00.. When I walked into his classroom, the door was unlocked and his students were present and waiting or him to arrive. Mikel was not in the classroom. The students then began to place their phones into the phone box without me even asking them to. One of the students asked me if I was their substitute for the day and would be teaching them because Mikel Lewis was not in the classroom. I then told him that I would stay there until their teacher arrived and that I would just stay with them until he showed up and I told them that if he didn’t arrive for any reason I would just stay for the whole class hour. Mikel Lewis then showed up. If I am recalling correctly, this took place after the second bell. If I am recalling that correctly to be honest as I may be incorrect with that… but I believe it was after the second bell, but it was before the pledge of allegiance. He then told the students what they should do for the day and also introduced me as Dr. Penelope. I then informed the students that they were not to call me Dr. Penelope and that I preferred to be called Ms. Penelope. When I told the students that they were not to call me Dr. Sasha, Mikel stated to the students, “okay, this is little freak!” I then left the classroom and he, either told me “Goodbye Ms. Penelope, or he said, “goodbye Dr. Penelope.” It was definitely either one of those two things he stated.

Yesterday, on Aug 7th anywhere from around 1:30-2:15, but I think it occurred around 2:00, Mikel saw me eat a piece of pizza from the lounge and he made an implication that I did not do shit. This is not verbatim but he either told me that I did not do shit today or never did shit. But he did use the word shit and implied my lack of effort.. Ms. Bell was standing directly next to both of us in the teachers lounge when this occurred. She may or may not have heard this but it looked like she heard it.

Later on that day before the bell rang, I saw Mikel outside and I believe he was close to his classroom, but I told him if he was feeling stressed out or anything and needed a personal day that maybe I could take a day off and I would cover for him the following day.
